The "and Emergency Squad" in our name is real. Volunteer responders answer medical calls alongside 911 dispatch, reaching people in a rural community where the nearest help is a neighbor who trained for the moment.

Milford is looking for volunteers on both sides of the response. You do not need experience. Training is provided. You need to live nearby and be willing to show up when a neighbor needs help.

Support the crew that shows up.
A rural fire department and squad run on two things: people willing to volunteer, and a community that has their back. There is no bill in the mail for the neighbors who leave dinner to answer a call. What keeps the trucks rolling and the squad trained is local support.
